Terms of Use

In effect from 6 August 2026. Version 2026-08-06.

The short version

Who we are and what you are agreeing to

FullMarks is operated by OC Research Pte. Ltd., based in Singapore. These terms are the agreement between you and us for your use of fullmarks.sg.

By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms and our Privacy Notice. If you do not accept them, please do not use FullMarks. We record the version of these terms you accepted when you signed up.

If we change these terms in a way that affects you, we will change the date at the top and tell you in the app before the change takes effect. If you keep using FullMarks after that, you accept the new version.

What FullMarks does

FullMarks helps students in Singapore practise for their exams. You answer a question, and FullMarks marks your answer against the marking material for that question and explains what you would have gained or lost marks for. It also has a tutor that answers questions about your subjects.

FullMarks is a study tool. It is not a school, an exam board, a tuition centre or a teacher, and it is not connected to any of them. It does not award real grades and it cannot promise you a result in a real examination.

Who can use FullMarks

You must be at least 13 years old to use FullMarks. By creating an account you confirm that you are 13 or older. If we find out that an account belongs to someone under 13 we will close it and delete the data on it.

If you are under 18, we encourage you to tell a parent or guardian that you are using FullMarks. A parent or guardian can contact us at any time about an account belonging to a student in their care.

Your account

You create and access your account by signing in with Google. There is no password on a FullMarks account, and we will never ask you for one. This means keeping your Google account secure is what keeps your FullMarks account secure.

Your account is for you alone. Please do not share it, and do not let someone else use it. Tell us at support@fullmarks.sg if you think someone else has got into your account.

Give us accurate information. If you tell us the wrong school level, the questions you are shown will be wrong for you.

What AI marking can and cannot do

Please read this section properly. It is the part students most often misunderstand.

FullMarks marks your answer using AI, guided by the marking material we hold for that specific question. AI marking can be wrong. It can miss a point you did make, award a point you did not make, or explain something incorrectly.

A mark from FullMarks is guidance to help you study. It is not your grade, it is not a prediction of your grade, and it carries no weight with any school or examination board. Where something matters, check it against your syllabus, your notes and your teacher.

A score appears only where we have identified the question and hold marking material for it. Where we cannot identify a question with confidence, FullMarks gives you a teaching answer instead and labels it as teaching rather than pretending to mark it. Teaching answers are explanations, not scores.

The tutor is also AI and has the same limits. Do not rely on it for anything outside studying, and never for medical, legal, financial or safety questions.

How you may use FullMarks

The questions, marking material, explanations and everything else you see in FullMarks are for your own personal study.

You agree not to:

  • copy the question bank or marking material in bulk, by hand or with software
  • republish, sell, or share what you find in FullMarks outside your own study
  • use FullMarks to build a competing product or a rival question database, or to train an AI model
  • try to get around usage limits, plan restrictions or security measures
  • try to make the AI ignore its instructions, or use FullMarks for anything other than studying
  • upload anything unlawful, abusive, or that belongs to someone else who has not allowed it

We may limit or close an account that breaks these rules, or where we detect automated extraction of our material.

What you submit

Your answers and photos stay yours. By submitting them you allow us to process them for the purpose of running the service, which means sending them to the AI services that mark them and returning the result to you. The Privacy Notice sets out exactly where that content goes and how long anything is kept.

Please do not put personal information into an answer, a photo or a support message when the question does not call for it, whether it is about you or about somebody else.

What it costs

Free to use

FullMarks is free for students. We do not ask for a card, and we do not charge you to practise, to have your answers marked, or to use Ask Volt. Fair-use limits apply so that one account cannot use the service in a way that stops it working for everyone else.

If that ever changes

If we introduce anything paid, we will say so in the app before you can buy it, and we will never charge a card unless you have chosen to pay and confirmed the price first. Nothing you can do in FullMarks today results in a charge.

If you paid for a plan before

A small number of accounts paid for a plan before FullMarks became free to use. Those accounts keep what they paid for until that period ends, and nothing renews afterwards. If you believe you have been charged since, write to support@fullmarks.sg and we will refund it.

Marks and rewards

Marks you score are a score inside the app. They are not money, they have no cash value, and they cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged for anything other than the items FullMarks itself offers.

Changes to the service

FullMarks is being built and improved all the time. Subjects, papers, features and limits will change as we add verified material and correct mistakes we find. We may add, change or remove parts of the service.

We try to keep FullMarks available, but we cannot promise it will never be down. We may take it offline for maintenance, or to protect students, our material or the security of the service.

Ending your account

You can close your account at any time. Open Profile in the app and choose Delete my account. Your account and your practice history are removed straight away and this cannot be undone.

If you cannot sign in, write to support@fullmarks.sg and we will close the account for you within 30 days.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks section 6, that is being used to harm other students or the service, or where we are required to by law. Unless the reason makes it inappropriate, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.

Our responsibility and its limits

We provide FullMarks with reasonable care and skill. Beyond that, the service is provided as it is, and we do not promise that it will be free of errors or that the marking will always be accurate.

We are not responsible for examination results, school outcomes, or any decision you make based on what FullMarks tells you. That is why section 5 asks you to check anything that matters with your teacher and your syllabus.

Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility that cannot be limited under Singapore law, including responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Subject to that, if we are found liable to you for anything connected with FullMarks, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

If part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest of them still apply.

Talk to us first. Most problems are quicker to fix by email than any other way. Write to support@fullmarks.sg, or open Support from your profile in the app and leave an email address we can reply to.
