O Level Pure Biology past papers, marked the way the exam marks it.

Most biology students do not lose marks because they do not understand the topic. They lose them because nobody has ever shown them, answer by answer, which words the mark scheme was waiting for. FullMarks does that for every O Level Pure Biology answer you write.

THE BANK

Every chapter, with real papers behind it

FullMarks holds 1,066 O Level Pure Biology questions, 235 of them carrying a full marking scheme, so a written answer can be marked against the same points an examiner would use. The chapters with the most practice behind them:

HOW MARKING WORKS

Where the marks actually go

Biology answers are marked on the specific term and on the link between two ideas. Naming a structure earns one thing; saying what that structure does, and therefore what happens next, earns another. Most lost marks in biology are not wrong facts — they are correct facts that were never joined together, so the causal step the scheme asks for is simply absent.

FullMarks marks written answers the way a Singapore examiner does: against the scheme's individual points, one at a time. It reports which points you earned, which you did not, and what was missing from each one you lost — not a grade, and not a compliment.

Two things that surprise most students

Handwriting-quality English is not what is being marked. An answer written in short, ungrammatical fragments can score full marks if every required statement is present. But naming the keywords is not enough either — where the scheme asks you to connect two ideas, listing both without joining them earns nothing for that point. Padding an answer with extra terms in the hope that one of them lands does not work, and can cost you marks a shorter answer would have won.

WHAT YOU GET

Write it as you would in the paper

You practise real O Level biology questions and answer them the way you will on the day — typed, photographed from your handwritten working, or drawn straight onto the screen. It comes back marked immediately, point by point. Where you lose a mark you are told exactly what was missing, rather than being shown a model answer and left to spot the difference yourself. If an explanation does not land, you can ask for the same thing again in plain words.

It is free to start and needs no card. The free plan limits how many written answers are marked each day; the question bank, the past papers and your progress reports are open.
